I woke up this morning and looked at the calendar and he kind of flashed back to me about that morning, remembering where I was and what I was doing at the time I first heard. It's one of those things in life that you remember exactly what you were doing and where you were at the time.

@Bensen32 I remember this well.Coming home from my tennis game and put the tv on and head to the bathroom.
I heard all the comotion and saw what was going on.Chill ran down my spine and call everyone that I know if they have the TV on
I was glued to it and sort of fighting mad to have someone destroying our towers.

That was a terrible day indeed. My prayers for every soul who was directly or indirectly been affected by that tragic incident.
I was not in here before and I was in India. But, watching those news in TV made us mad all day long and it was a misery & shock for couple of months later too... Even now!!
My prayers in silence for them.

@amadeo Good morning!
Exactly.. that was one thing I learnt in life through that incident too. It's easy to destroy. It's just simple like operating a button on a remote control. But did we even think of the time or money or effort or whatever, that people gave to construct for that. Okay! Let's leave that....The lives of people? Is that not so precious for each one of us. So cruel thoughts.
It did create an alarming effect on young hearts. We should just wish for peace.

It is a day that will stick in our minds till the day we die. Horrible and horrific. I still shed tears about it. I was at work in a meeting and one of my staff came to get tell us. We finished our meeting and stood with mouths open on the floor as we watched in disbelief! RIP to all those beautiful souls who lost their lives not only on that day but during the years and months that followed! We Will NEVER forget!

@amadeo It was terribly shocking wasn't it. You know in maybe 50 years there will not be too many people around who will remember this so I hope that they keep the memorials going in the USA!

A dark day for Humanity. And a day I can never forget. I just came to India from US on 7th Sep. My husband was supposed to join me next week here for a family vacation. He worked with IBM, Armonk at that time and his office was near to twin tower. OMG! He witnessed the whole thing and till now he can not come out of the shock. I tried calling him like a fanatic after receiving this news on TV. We could not reach him for a day and we all were so worried as a family. He called us back after a day and told us about him being safe. He trembles when he talks of this day. He could see the plane crashing and tower falling down in front of him while he was enjoying his morning coffee. I kept crying with a prayer and hope in my heart till I got to hear from him. I still get choked at the memory of that day.
