Cherish THAT day

A lot of folks cherish their wedding day. After 18 years, I do too! Don't get me wrong.
I also cherish the that me and my now wife "got it." Know what I mean? When I lived in Spain and was on military radio, I would crash parties after my late set was over. They were ALWAYS her parties (haha). She grew to dislike me because of that, obviously. Then one day I invited her over to apologize and just to get to know her.
We realized we were in the same place of time. We both wanted the same things out of our lives, our faith, and careers. We "got it". I cherish that day because we never left each other's side since. Cherish your weddings, yes, but also cherish the day you realized you found "The One" .
I don't consider myself politically correct. I do consider myself respectful of others. I stand up for what I believe in and clarify they are my opinions when...
