New Goal and Health Report - Day 78

Yesterday was a good day for exercise and eating. I made up for not being hungry the day before. I also had good exercise in the pool and fitness center. Not so much this morning. I didn't go to the Y. When I looked at the weather this morning, there were flood warnings for half the state. I wasn't about to be caught in a flooded area on my way to the Y. So, I went back to bed and got up in time to catch the news at 5 to see how bad the flooding was. Added to the 2.35 inches we got the day before, is 1.39 inches for a total of 6.03 inches for the month so far. It's only the 12th and there's more rain in the forecast for today. Wisconsin is going on the record for the most rain/snow since the 1880s.
As I watched the weather, I could have gone to the Y this morning, but I won't be going tomorrow as the flood warning is in place until 7 AM tomorrow. We're expecting another half-inch or more of rain between tonight and tomorrow morning.
I didn't do any walking this morning. I did rock painting instead and just got home. I also ate at the ADRC so I have no idea what those calories are, but I'm sure the sugar was high with the apple crisp.
As for the new goal. I decided to weigh myself this morning and I am now down a total of 40 pounds. I lost the last two pounds I've been trying to lose all year. I am on a new ten-pound goal and hope to make it by Christmas.
Here are yesterday's numbers, and yes, I'm happy with these.
Calories: 1171
Sugar: 51.1
Carbs: 117.1
Protein: 60
Sodium: 740
Fat: 54.8
Calories Burned:
Swimming - 50 Minutes - 569
Recumbent Bike - 3.92 M - 122
Total Calories Burned - 691
Total Calories - 480
There you have my new goal, weight loss and calories for yesterday, along with the weather forecast.
How did you do with food and exercise yesterday? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

@DianneN IF the church did what most churches do and have desserts and sides offered by members of the congregation, I wouldn't have eaten so bad. I know at our church picnic the week before, there was a lot to choose from, and I only took one dessert. I did good and had fun.

I'm surprised I didn't gain weight this week. I had junk food at a church picnic on Sunday someone invited me to. It was a homeless picnic. It's the best way to describe it. You were given a hotdog in a bun, a bag of chips and a chocolate chip cookie. They also had roasted ear of corn, which I can't eat without any teeth. It took this whole week to get rid of that garbage in my system. I know I didn't need to eat it. I could have left. However, I waited for my friend who invited me and left just before she got there. I couldn't stay any longer. There was nothing to do at that picnic. It was the lamest church picnic I've ever been to.

Sounds like fun with rock painting. That is a lot of rain, wow! I think your numbers yesterday look good, and that's a good goal! I'd love to lose 15-20 by Christmas myself. I have 75-80 pounds left to lose total.

I am controlling them, maybe not healthy food but lower calories.
