The Harvest Moon will be September 14 2019 but, the moon will appear full on Friday September 13th. The Harvest Moon is what the full moon is called in September. The moon travels around the Earth about every 27.3 days. The Harvest moon occurs at the end of the growing season in September and October. Atleast that is how it works in the Northern Hemisphere.

It was a beautiful Harvest moon. The clouds cleared up for us to actually see it.

Yes it is certainly a lovely full and bright moon here. I just glanced out of the window and there it is not a cloud in sight!

@celticeagle I saw the moon for the first time yesterday. Not full anymore, but it still looked nice at three quarters.
