The moment I knew I met the right person

One fine morning me and my husband were driving to the park where we usually walk on Saturdays. Suddenly in the middle of the road we spotted a tiny black puppy, roaming around all alone on the busy road. Vehicles passed it by, some of them stopped to look at the little thing and then just went. Without hesitation my husband left the car approached baby puppy, and picked her up. Later me and my hubby went to check if there was mother nor far from that place, but instead of mother dog we saw old box, placed just on the road side, where we found one more tiny puppy, evidently sibling of our findling. They were so cute and so innocent left all alone on the busy road, dumped like a trash in the old box. Off course we took them home, gave them bath, food and all necessary health checkup and vaccination. Rosie and Bonnie were our foster babies during 3months, till we found for them their forever sweet homes. Now they are two gorgeous beautiful grown up dogs, living in nice houses, showered by love and care of kind families. The moment, when my hubby left the car to pick up the puppy, the moment he shown not a single sign of hesitation to bring them home was the moment I understood I chose the right partner.

@arthurchappell Yeah agree. If humans don't show compassion for their brothers, how can we expect them showing compassion for animals! Hope more and more people will be less indifferent towards each other and other living beings.

Thank you for sharing same thoughts here. Those people don't have heart. At least if they knew they couldn't keep the puppies, they could contact people in adoption or fostering Facebook groups not just dump them on street

@Julie555 yer welcome. i dunno why folks don't do such? oft times they wait 'til they're ill 'fore reachin' out - 'r jest dumpin' 'em like garbage. i'm so grateful there's folks like yerself 'n hubs to help me keep hope fer humanity 's a whole. there's 'lso many places that offer free 'r reduced fee spay/neuter programs these folks need to contact.

@crazyhorseladycx you are absolutely right. Many people underestimate the importance of spaying. Besides birth control issue, this allows to improve overall health of dog, decreasing risk of cancer as well.

Poor little things, I am glad that you took care of them. I never let a young animal alone, they risk to be killed, they deserve a better life.

@Julie555 In my opinion those who do not like and help animals cannot be good persons.

Why don't people 'fix' their dogs if they don't want to deal with pups? ARGH!!! Glad you found the right guy--I never did and tried 4 times!

You are right. Only irresponsible and careless people can act like this, if not to say more. Well, maybe sometimes no need to try hard to find, it just happens on its own, thing called "destiny"

You did choose the right partner, and I’m so happy to meet another animal lover! Thank goodness you rescued those sweet, innocent puppies. I can’t believe how cruel people can be to abandon precious animals like trash! Bless you both.

Thank you Dianne for your kind words. I feel animals have more pure and loyal soul, than us humans. And the way they are treated makes me feel very sad about world we live.

Very sad. It can tell a lot about person itself what kind of friend and partner such person can be if there is no kindness towards small innocent living being.

It is awful that people just dump puppies like this. You were both so kind to pick up the puppies and go to so much trouble for them. Good for you.
