Time to take flight with the newest countdown, and I’m sure you’ll find this one for the birds. This is a list of ten favorite songs with a type of bird (not necessarily the word “bird” itself) in the title. And, will you look at what’s kicking off this countdown? Here we go! #10: As the Raven Flies - Dan Fogelberg I’m slacking. It’s been fifteen minutes since I mentioned that this is my favorite Dan Fogelberg album. I must have been saving money by switching to Geico. Not only is Souvenirs my favorite Fogelberg album, I think it’s one of the best things Joe Walsh ever put his name on. Walsh's direction definitely was a big part of this album's critical and commercial success. Joe got some great contributions from some notable musicians including Dan Peek from the group America and Graham Nash from Crosby, Stills and Nash. Columbia's teaming Fogelberg with Walsh was pure magic. "There's A Place in the World For A Gambler" and the record company gamble sure paid off. BTW- Walsh contributed backing vocals on Gambler...
