Perhaps, when young generation fails to value past events, people, places or things, the blame rest squarely on the lack of connection to history. For instance, as it is almost impossible to forget an old country where so much of one's history can be traced, it is as much as difficult to be attached to a new country when one is yet to have a history with. It maybe possible that people with shared history have advance and complex way of communication than those who don't. Also, maybe having a rich history can give depth to life and perhaps a true self identity when insecurities abound.
