Green Eyed Brendel Says Hello

My cat Brendel is chilling, as usual, in the screen room, under the ceiling fan. Another hot 95 degree day so far. She is staying cool. Funny, there are cushions in the chairs but she chose, for now, to lay on the metal table. Snapped this photo quick as she glanced at the camera. Usually she doesn't like her picture taken. Had to be quick. The Dude is asleep in the cat tree inside under the air conditioning. He is snoring after he woke me up at 5:am. They wake me up and then go back to sleep. Staying in doing laundry and a few phone calls. Plans in your world today?

Brendels eyes are gorgeous. Such a pretty cat. You did a great job on this photo. I did a load of laundry today and have been up many times today puttering doing little things.

@CarolDM More relaxed now. I am starting to branch out from the bedroom with the spray now. The family room will be a harder room to do but that is because I am going to rearrange while I am getting it done.

The top of the metal table is fairly cool, I'll bet that's why Brendel has chosen to lay there:) Kobe woke us up at 3:00A a couple mornings, because deer came into our neighbor's yard. So I keep him inside his building, until 6:30A when the alarm clock goes off!

she's a beaut 'n those eyes? mercy :) critters 're odd sometimes. e'en here when we'd triple digit heat, some'd be laid out'n top the dark brown jacuzzi cover. i dunno how they didn't melt! the hubs decided not to work today, so i've him underfoot. questionin' my e'ery move. wantin' to know who i 'twas speakin' with this morn'n the phone (my sweet momma, call'er near daily) 'n then who sent me a text (coz i don't text) - which 'twas the doc's office confirmin' my 'ppointment monday. sigh...

When I adopted her the eyes are what made my decision for me. How could I not give her a home. Seems like they love the heat. You are blessed to have your Momma to talk to. I hope you can enjoy the rest of your day. Deep breaths.

Perhaps the metal table is cooler than the cushions. It's annoying how animals seem to like to wake you up but then go back to sleep.

The metal table is cooler than the cushions. Your weather has been terrible along with the south and east coast. The Dude knows where to go...with the a/c. MyLotting. Picked a roofer.

Yes I finally relaxed that. I know, still high 90s today. Crazy heat just will not let up. The Dude is bigger and gets hotter than she does I think. He stays out a few minutes then comes in. Oh good, you have a roofer!
