Why have people shrunk the use of newspapers?

Newspapers are not commonplace these days. The newspaper industry finds it a Herculean task to stay relevant at a time when internet and electronic media are the talk of the town.

probably because we can find the most important news on the internet, without buying newspaper. but anyway, i like to see old people reading the newspaper.

In my country the newspaper is very little seen but the reason is not for the internet since here it is almost archaic, but because the paper of the newspaper is very expensive and they stopped printing them.
