Yes, pitiful me and the people in the other parts of the city. We suffered the extreme heat. Three days of not being here means a lot to me. I miss some updates and some fun. The reason for this too long black out is road re-construction- road repair. It is so annoying. Traffic got worse for the passage got too slimmer. Re-routing was made so those who work should wake up the time chickens wake up to avoid coming late to the work place. Therefore, here again dust all you can.. People are now busy buying face masks. It is too bad to get sick due to pollution. How are you guys? The feeling is nice to be here again. Take care and have a nice weekend.

There’s road widening going on nearby my parent’s house. And there will be a 5-hr power interruption on Tuesday because of that(my area included). 5 long hours. Sad.

@MGjhaud, hi Joy? Ours is 3 days so suffocating. The kids at home with their mom stayed in VIP hotel to escape the raging heat. Is it also hot there in Davao?

Not so much but it’s sunny everyday, which I don’t like. Good thing I’m up at night. Can’t remember the last time it rained here. But I don’t wanna be insensitive though cause I’ve seen flooded areas in Luzon.

I think the road works are almost all over the country. Back home, motorists are also suffering from heavy traffic and muddy roads due to the ongoing works.

@sunrisefan, that is true many barangays in Cagayan de Oro roads under construction and drivers re route to avoid traffic congestion.Unlike in Auckland, we cannot find dusty roads. It is a very clean-green =safe country.

@cacay1 Yes, and when they do road works here in NZ it's very quick and they even work at night. The last time we came, we saw that they work fast in making an overpass. They just joined together pre-fabricated segments on big concrete supports.

I hope those road construction will be done soon. In here most of my office mates are suffering from colds and cough and some has fever snd sore throats. The reason is the weather. It’s pretty rainy in here for the past days and at times become very sunny.

@rsa101 hehehe I am okay now. My doctor prescribed me antibiotic good for 7 days duration 73 pesos twice a day, and a powdered med manufactured from Turkey and one one product from Zanopi. I was hesitant to drink because that dengvaxia is product of Zanopi hehehe. The cause of my cough is allergy from dust especially this time, the haze from Indonesia reaches Mindanao my location. People are advised not to expose so much outside. I noticed there are many students in the university simultaneously cough. It is so dusty in the university because of the construction of the new sports complex and three new buildings. It is so annoying and disgusting. My classrooms are beside the roads in school. I cannot wear mask when I lecture. despite windows close but dust finds ways to enter and finds any humans to be their temporary shelter,LOL. I am okay now, no more cough. I am just busy. I am teaching two schools and next week September 30 -October 5 Midterm departmental exams. I almost cannot describe my works. Oh my. Thanks friend. Have a nice Sunday with your loves.

@ilocosboy yes and people got mad why leaving the road unfinished. If the official did not win most probably the road becomes so rugged and people surely claim especially during rainy days, plus it is almost Christmas.
