Happy Saturday & Health Report - Day 87

Yesterday was a no exercise of any kind day as my back healed. Today is laundry day, so there were stairs. I thought about walking, but with the clouds forming outside as I got home, I think I'll pass on the walking.
It's getting difficult to get my sodium where it needs to be. At the end of the day as I'm looking over what I've eaten and the numbers, I'm low on sodium. I don't usually have that problem, so I looked at what I needed, tried to figure out what would make up the difference and realized I was one egg short for those numbers. I shouldn't have that problem today as I've already taken care of 95% of my sodium for breakfast. It won't take much to get the rest of it, I hope. I only need 60 mg of sodium for 500. I only added a slice of turkey bacon to breakfast.
So, here are my numbers for yesterday.
Calories: 1155
Sugar: 28
Carbs: 127
Protein: 49.3
Sodium: 516
Fat: 52.4
I think I did well yesterday and with the pound, I lost I'm now down 41 pounds. I intend to keep going down.
I know not everyone is on a food or exercise program, but if you are, how was your day yesterday? Thanks for reading.

Thank you. I'm glad it shows, even from the last photo taken. I was going to stop it, but too many people here want to see it and how I'm doing, so I'll continue with it.
After looking at that picture, I think I might stick with the other one I have for my profile picture as the back cover picture. I'm not sure about the necklace with the shirt. When I put it on, I thought it looked good with the shirt, now I'm not so sure.

@HazySue I'm leaning towards the profile picture, which was the one I wanted for the back cover when my friend took my picture. I wanted to see what it would be like in the shirt above. When I did the side by side this morning, the purple one is winning out.

i'd a mighty slow saturday here. didn't e'en get'n the puter 'til 'bout 10ish pm? jest couldn't get the body to cooperate.
that sodium still looks mighty low, hon. i love the pic, reckon such'd jest be a personal choice though? 've ne'er added a pic 'f myself anywhere, lol. do my best to ensure nobody else does either...

'tis true, that swellin' 'tis awful. i tend to get quite a bit 'f that, not from sodium though. mine 'tis from the lymph nodes not workin' proper.

@crazyhorseladycx Thank you. I'm doing much better now after a nap. Like nothing happened. The chills are gone and the sore throat has disappeared. I think the hot tea helped the sore throat.

Your horse picture is nice.
As long as the sodium is near 500 mg, the minimum daily requirement, I'm good. I don't need to start swelling with too much sodium in my body.
I had back trouble yesterday too, so my notifications are piling up as I sit on the massage pad.

I think your numbers look pretty good, and great work on losing a pound and being down 41 pounds!
I didn't do good Friday and Saturday....but will be back on today, I hope.

Stair climbing is a very good exercise. I have read that people can eat more sodium than they used to think was healthy.

I don't come across your posts very often as I don't get much time here so try to read all the posts of those I follow. So I'm not up to date on your health. Do you have trouble keeping sodium in your body? What happens if you don't get enough of it?

No. Everyone needs a minimum of 500 mg of sodium daily. Back when I broke my right ankle several years ago, I found I had a swelling problem in my feet and legs when I ate anything too salty, so I took sodium out of my diet or thought I did. I didn't realize how much sodium is in the food we eat, other than the preservative garbage lining grocery store shelves. I don't eat preservative foods because of what all that sodium does for me. So, I try to stick as close to 500 mg of sodium I can per day. I go over, but hopefully, not too much.

That is a good pic! I didn't stuff myself yesterday, but I did eat a waffle..although it was partially made with coconut flour. I took a walk also.

I didnt eat too healthy yesterday. 2 pepsi's and a pizza sub. But I have dropped another pound recently with eating like that on the weekends.
