Hubby and I have been travelling for a month now.
Lots of photos, lots of stories and some days or truly erratic internet connections.
Today we will visit the Grand Canyon! Look for photos tonight!
Meanwhile, back home there was a prestigious quilt show that the owner of the local quilt shop recommended. When I told her I would be away she offered to deliver and pick up my quilts.
Last week she sent me photos....and congratulations.
One of my quilts won a first place ribbon.
I'm blown away! This ribbon means more to me than any other ribbon I've won.
The competition is stiff! There are so many amazing quilts entered.

There is a glass observation deck isnt there? Did you go on it? I am sure my knees would feel like jello but I'd want to go on it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum no, didn't go there. We were there for 7 hours. In 7 days I still don't think I would have been able to see more than a small percentage. There were also large crowds by lunch time...and I try to avoid crowds.

Yes, that is the quilt I made.
We had a fantastic day at the Grand Canyon.

I was thinking about you yesterday wondering when I'd see another post of yours.
