Saying goodbye to summer

There are some things in life that are hard to do. One of the them is seeing summer coming to an end.
The days are already getting shorter. Long walks will not be as enjoyable. Some activities will only be done when summer comes again next year. Time to put away my convertible. (Just kidding)

@1hopefulman No he had a serious spine problem, that caused a terrible pain to the nerve that goes down to the food. He could not even sit.

It was a great summer with beautiful weather. Hopefully, Autumn will be not too bad and that will shorten the winter.

I hate having to wear all the winter clothes and having to take the time to dress. So much easier just to put shorts and get out.

@1hopefulman There is all the layering up in winter. It is easier to just dress and go. However, that won't make me like summer more.

Probably because there are a lot more trees than in the city and the air is much fresher. Nice to get away from the city.

I used to love autumn with the great berries in the forest - now I am happy to buy that kind of berries and enjoy the fresh air and be able to walk outdoors as my leg is a lot better than last summer..

Wish I had that convertible Felix, ha, ha! Yes, summer is gone. Mine was good with many beach trips, listening to local bands with friends and strolls along the boardwalk. My favorite time of the year. Here is another song which is the essence of summertime....

We were out and about in our convertible today. Lol!
Summer was exceptional this year, and I enjoyed every single day, except a few. However, we are looking forward to more summer weather in Florida even though it’s never as hot and humid as it is in the Northeast of the USA between December and the end of May.

I had a good summer even though we didnt get to do as much camping as we had hoped to but we did make some great memories. Always sad to see another summer come to an end.
