A dog that has a guardian angel looking out for her

A six year old female dog named Journey who had the bad luck of going to spend most of her life in a crowded animal shelter in Virginia after her owner perished when she was a puppy, came very close to being put to sleep since no owner wanted her. I can only guess that social media played a role in relaying the message that Journey was about to be put down when Amy Creel who is a member of the Knine Rescue Group in Ashton Maryland heard about the incident involving Journey. Amy with the assistance of members of her rescue group managed to travel from Maryland to Virginia to rescue Journey from being put to sleep by taking turns traveling from city to city to rescue Journey. Fate was on Journey's side when the Knine Rescue Group brought Journey to a senior citizens center in Ashton where Journey got to meet her potential new owners who were impressed with her kindness toward them. The Sunrise Senior Living Center residents adopted Journey to live with them. Special thanks to the Knine Rescue Group for rescuing Journey from being put down and finding a new home in Maryland.
