Just lately, I had my quarterly monitoring by the doctor of my blood chemistry and the like.
I was so happy when I got the result.
As you can see in what I attached here, all were normal.
Sometimes though, my cholesterol would be higher than normal.
But this time, they were all normal.
The doctor joked I am a teenager.
What about you?
Do you get a lab result like this, all normal?

@SIMPLYD I'm 45 years now and I can feel how the age affected my body. I'm trying to be active in physical exercise like running.

That is very nice that you have that results. I usually have that results when I was in my 30s were I was given a clean bill of health always. But now I always on the lookout on my sugar level cholesterol. I think no matter I avoid them the results remain the same I am borderline and just waiting to cross to be abnormal levels.

Actually, as we age the tendency is for our results to be abive the nornal on our cholesterol , blood sugar and blood pressure.
That is why , as we age we really strive to be healthy by exercising at least 30 mins a day and eating healthily.
And that are what i am doing so i guess that's why all those were normal.
Maybe you lack exercise?

@SIMPLYD there'd be times tests'll show my kidneys're failin', other times my liver. i fear i'd be far from 'normal' 'n most doc's jest don't comprehend such. if'n my crohn's 'tis active'n angry, all sorts 'f schtuff comes back hinky, causin' 'em to panic, fer no good reason.

Congrats for that; yes we are so happy when we know we get such good lab results; I had it too last three months ago;will have next a end of December.Thedoctor we knew said it is alright to have high cholesterol because it is needed in the brain, and in some body functions. Just be sure that sugar is low and nothing bad will happen.

Oh, is that so? Whenever i have a higher than normal cholesterol , the doctor would give me simvastatin ot atorvastatin. I have read that we just have to have a normal level of cholesterol.
Because of that i was given a 10mg maintenance of Atorvastatin. However, after two months i didn't take it anymore but just watch my intake of fatty foods. On January i shall have my first quarter check up.

@SIMPLYD ok, that's a must for everyone. I had my general check when I applied for a work Visa in Auckland. I was negative of TB, heart okay , blood pressure okay and other body parts. I had that general medical check up at St. Luke hospital , Davao City branch.
