This story is a very interesting story since thanks to the power of social media, a Nashville police officer named Andrew Maholland was seen by an eyewitness assisting a couple and their dog that were living inside their auto at a shopping center on Monday.
Officer Maholland answered a call from a concerned person who thought the couple who were inside their auto with their dog were up to no good.
When Officer Maholland found out that the couple and their dog did not have any food or drink, he went to a local Methodist church that teams up with the local police to hand needy people a meal kit.
Officer Mahooland did his duty to hand the couple and their dog a meal package with the basic needs for them to be met for that day.
What makes this story even sweeter is that Officer Maholland plans to visit the same couple on Tuesday to see if he can assist them have their needs met once again.

The key to helping the needy is the unknown caller.

I agree with you since united we stand, divided we fall.

I'm glad to see the officer assisted them rather than arrested them!

The police officer had some compassion on them instead of taking them in for loitering.
