Jasmine turned 11 months today. It's been a while since I went over to see my son and granddaughter, so I did that this morning after my nap, which was necessary with not getting much sleep last night.
I had good quality time with my son and granddaughter who is starting to stand and can walk with help now.
The news on that home front isn't the greatest as my son can't work like he used to. He's in a lot of pain for the better part of a day, so outside work is out of the question. It's come from all the physical work he's done in the past. He's not one to sit still for long and when told to sit and take it easy by doctors to properly heal, that lasted only so long, hence the pain he's in today from all he's done. Still, he's doing what he can. One of the benefits is that he spends a lot of time with his daughter. He's very protective of her, which is good.
He put air in my tires and informed me I need a radiator flush for the car. I'm seeing dollar signs beside the fact I need an oil change as soon as possible. And I need to get it done before winter.
Looks like it will be lean again around here while I get the car taken care of so I don't have any trouble over winter.
He's having Jasmine's birthday party late in the day next month and I told him I won't be able to make it because I need to be able to see when driving and driving late at night doesn't work for me. He understands. I told him I would stop by early in the day.
The good news is that my future daughter-in-law is working again, so things are improving, but as always, it takes time.
I hate when life takes one step forward and three steps back so you can't get ahead no matter how hard you try.
So, anyway, that's why I haven't been here this morning. Now to get to the notifications and see what you've been up to today. How is your Tuesday going? Thanks for reading. The picture is mine of Jasmine.

@JudyEv He likes to work on cars and was doing that, but it's hard work and hard on his battered body. He junks - goes around and collects metal and takes it to the junkyard. He has a couple of contracts for that, but they aren't every day. Again, it's demanding work. He's always been a physical person when it comes to the work he does. He couldn't sit at any job. It would drive him nuts. He needs to work with his hands.

I just need to find out how much it will cost to do the radiator flush. My son says it shouldn't be much because it's a small car. I hope not.
I'm glad you had a good Tuesday.
Thank you. She is a doll. So cute, and heavy. She weighs 25 pounds.

@just4him I know a lot of people like that. It's not that they want to work, but that they have to, to pay the bills. It's sad.

I am sorry for all the pain he is suffering. Glad he can spend time with his daughter. I hate when things happen and we have to hope they will get better and stay that way and not one day be good and another be bad and continue that way. Nice picture of the two of you.
