It Was So Much Easier

When she was the age she is here, which was just under 2! I didn’t get the whole sassy attitude, preteen hormonal thing. She hasn’t come over since Monday when she got a stern lecture on lying and the danger of Tik-Tok as well as taking her attitude out on Sophia, (my dog) she didn’t like that at all, especially the lecture about the danger of Tik-Tok, she didn’t like being told phone time would be monitored and that sass would mean no allowance in October! Amber got mad at us too because we told her not to reward Little Miss for misbehaving especially with something that could risk her life and safety. If she had only been watching videos I wouldn’t have gotten as mad, but she was posting them of herself on there, not cool! I am hoping she realizes her safety was at risk, that we are not simply trying to be mean but to keep her safe! Another long time friend decided to go through one of her moods and Unfriend me because I hadn’t talked to her in a couple of weeks! I was sick, but I’m used to this from her so I just go with the flow. I did get a quick note from my cousin telling me to make sure I was better in time for Universal Studios wohoo! I better be completely over this cold by December, I’m actually over it by now! I think Little Miss is also a bit envious of big brother because I got him a cell phone, but he’s almost eighteen and was making really good grades in school, and he hasn’t done anything he’s not supposed to do! Besides it seems everyone is always getting Little Miss things so it was Big E’s turn.

The things kids do for attention nowadays is scary.

Yes it really is, I’m just glad I caught it before something horrible happened to her!

Eh, she will thank you later in life for looking out for what's best for her. All kids get attitudes at times, thankfully though they get over them! Just stand your ground, you're doing right by her.

I’m standing my ground and right now she’s stayed away, but yes she’ll get over it!

I have to say it the beat goes on. I have no idea how you are going to handle this but I do wish you the best of luck and I hope Little Miss comes to her senses,

I’ll handle it, and she’ll come to her senses I’m sure, it’s just a matter of when, and Amber will learn too when her daughter gets older!

I am intrigued by the line that says about the dabgers of Tiktok. What about it?

It’s a magnet for predators and unfortunately marketed in such a way that it’s attractive to kids as young as third grade!

Discipline is very important to the young ones, but its hard since they have access to the internet.
