Headache upon waking. What could it be?

Hello everyone, I am writing because something unusual happens to me in people and is that about once a month I wake up to go to work (5am) and I have a headache but the pain is never strong, I just wake up because I hear the alarm ... it usually takes off shortly after waking up and that's why I haven't taken it to worry and I think that at some point I slept in a bad position generating my headache.
Should I go to the doctor? What do you think?

Hi thanks. But does hot steam add something to the water?

I find it very interesting what you say because in the state where I live the average temperature per year is more than 30ÂșC at least it rains but does not fall much, here it is common when people go shopping to carry a sealed glass in a bag but at I don't like to go out with something in my hands and my wife has always told me that I drink little water. thank you for your advice

@andersonc I have your same problem, I tend to drink too little and often I get headaches during summer.

I think you should try drinking more water. You need to be hydrated to feel well on waking up in the morning. If you headache is to do with stress try to go to sleep with relaxing music for ten minutes. Have an eye test in case you need spectacles. Good luck.

I think you have slept in a bad position that you didn't have a good rest over the night.

Many things can cause headaches, so it's hard to say from just this information.
Try to see what common thing is happening before the headaches. Try in the morning to write down everything about the time leading up to the headache and see if a pattern shows up. Write it all down, what did you eat, how much sleep did you get, were lights on was the TV on did you watch a bunch of TV the day before, did you drink enough water the day before.
My first guess is maybe not enough water or not enough sleep.
