Time for Bed

Norwich, England

I can tell it's heading towards winter as the nights are drawing in and the evenings are colder. I can also tell as the cats, after they've eaten their dinner, creep up the stairs and cuddle up on our bed! As you can see, we're fully prepared for their little muddy feet and shedding fur as we've put a big fleece cat blanket at the top of the bed where they lay. Thankfully they prefer to sleep on Adam's side so I can just get in but he has the task of trying to move them off.

They do look like they'ver settled in for the evening. They can be heavy if they sleep on your feet.

We did have one cat who used to come up under the duvet during the night and nibble our toes! Quite a shock!!

I think cats are always ready for bed, aren't they? Both of ours tend to play for about an hour, eat for an hour and sleep the remaining 22 hours!!!

@olliesmum I would say the cats are letting you know about the weather. Glad you are prepared.
