I tell you, today I bought several oranges to make juice and my 6 year old son is very encouraged to grow it but I don't know if it is convenient to grow it today or wait several days? What do you advise me? I have obtained the seeds of the fruit today but my son wants to grow them now. what should I do?.

Plant the seeds now in a container and keep it moist. When it has grown bigger, transfer it in the ground.

@andersonc Plant it now and don't wait for tomorrow what you do for today.

I suggest you get a container and put in enough soil then plant the seeds. Remember to water the seeds every day. You may wait a while before you can get oranges.

Buy marcotted orange cuttings instead because if you plant them as seeds you will wait for 15 years before you can enjoy fruits.

@andersonc you can search in the internet where to buy orange cuttings. Unless you are willing to wait for 15 years with seeds.

Why to wait? Get a container, put some soil inside, plant the seed, keep the soil moist in a sunny spot.

@andersonc It will take years to grow a tree, but you could be able to see some little leaves after a couple of weeks.
