Looking for Extra Income

It is hard these days to think of a good business to make extra income.
We are feeling the pinch of financial difficulty in our status as retired persons. It is better if we can have other sources of income aside from the monthly pensions because the cost of living is going up.
One lesson for the young: have enough money for retirement or a steady source of income even if you retired from work.

It's the same here;I don't want to use our savings in the bank;so am thinking of having an additionnal income.

I am planning to invest some of my savings so that it will earn some instead of just keeping it in the bank... The interest rate is too small...

I agree with you.A steady source of income is very important. Now I have a full-time job as a teacher, and do some part-time job in the weekend.And deposit about one third of my income in the bank.We I retired, i could have enough to feed myself.

yepperz, many'll not listen though, thinkin' that such'll not happen fer 'em. that delusion'll get 'em 'nto troubles. i'm pushin' the hubs to keep workin' 'til he's 70 (longevity 'tis common'n his family). he says such'd 'nly net'n additional $500 a month. i'm thinkin' he's gonna need such coz he'll not curtail his spendin'. thankfully we've a 401k, but if'n i don't handle that, he'll blow through that'n a year.
