1935 - Julie Andrews was born. She is an English actress, singer and author. She had her Broadway debut in 1948 in The Boyfriend, then appeared in My Fair Lady and Camelot. Her feature film debut was in Mary Poppins, the Sound of Music, The Americanization of Emily, Torn Curtain, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Victor/Victoria, Princess Diaries. She's won 1 Academy Award, 1 BAFTA, 5 Golden Globes, 3 Grammys, 2 Emmys and more.
1950 - Randy Quaid was born. He is an American film and television actor and Oscar nominee. He is best known for his role of Cousin Eddie in the National Lampoon Vacation movies. Some of his other films: The Last Detail, Midnight Express, LBJ: The Early Years, Streetcar Named Desire and Elvis.

I have not seen any raccoons lately just coyotes.

There seems to be a ton of them in California, especially around Los Angeles.
