"Along Came Polly" was released in 2004 and is a romantic comedy written and directed by John Hamburg. CAST Ben Stiller - Reuben Feffer Jennifer Aniston - Polly Prince Debra Messing - Lisa Kramer Philip Seymour Hoffman - Sanford "Sandy" Lyle Alec Baldwin - Stanley "Stan" Indursky Hank Azaria - Claude Bryan Brown - Leland Van Lew Missi Pyle - Roxanne Jsu Garcia - Javier Michelle Lee - Vivian Feffer Bob Dishy - Irving Feffer Reuben Feffer is an uptight risk analyst for an insurance company. He is on his honeymoon with his wife, Lisa, on the island of St. Barts. Reuben and Lisa are on the beach when a French scuba instructor, Claude, approaches them and asks "Leuben" if they are "for scuba?" It turns out that Lisa would like to go; but Reuben wants to stay ashore. Later that day Reuben approaches the boat with a bottle of champagne. He goes onboard and discovers Claude and Lisa in bed. Reuben returns home to New York and tries to put his life back together. Reuben goes to an art gallery with his friend, Sandy Lyle. A young woman serving wine to the patrons recognizes Reuben and approaches him. It turns out that Polly and Reuben were classmates; and Polly also recognizes Sandy. Polly and Reuben start dating. Polly is a free spirit, always up to try new things and new adventures. Reuben is straight-laced and worried about the "risk factors". Everything goes well until Lisa returns and tells Reuben that she wants to get back together with him. Reuben, always aware of the risk factor, is torn between the free-spirited Polly and the safe and familiar Lisa. MY OPINION This movie would never win an Academy Award; but it's funny, cute and romantic. Jennifer Aniston never seems to get the best movies; but I have to admit that this is one of the better ones. This is one of my go-to movies when there's nothing else on TV; and I have watched it at least a half-dozen times. This movie did well at the box office; and if you're looking for something light, you might want to give "Along Comes Polly" a chance. This movie is rated PG-13. P. S. If you're wondering about the picture, Polly has a pet ferret! Photo Credit: Pixabay
Reuben (Ben Stiller) is a guy who's been content to play it safe. But when he meets Polly (Jennifer Aniston), he goes from middle-of-the-road to totally-out-...

The one in the photo looks like a Martens, the wild ferret we have here in the wild that chew the cables of the cars. Cutte Pests!
