Rushing Waves...

I love the ocean. I can sit and listen to the ocean waves rushing on the shore for hours.
When I lived in Houston. If I was not on a business trip...I would sometimes rent a hotel with the room facing the ocean, on the highest floor available.
I would stay there the entire weekend. Regardless of the weather...I would open up the windows, and sliding door to the balcony...and just fall asleep listening to the waves. To me there is not a more heavenly sound.
Anyway... I made the background on this piece to look as if it was painted on a stone wall. I kind of like the effect..

I also love to listen to the waves as they splash against the shore. There is a walk to Sand Point and at the rocky shoreline I can hear the mighty waves. I love to stay at a beach front hotel with a sea view. In Hawaii we had a sea view through a narrow gap.

I also love to listen to the waves of the ocean or sea and to watch them come and go when I am at the shore

I also like the sea. In summer vacation or weekend, I often drive to the seaside with family. My daughter likes to play sand with friends and I only sit there for hours, feel the wave and wind.

I agree with you that hearing the waves from the ocean is a priceless way of enjoying seeing the ocean from a hotel room. It reminds me of the beaches in Panama where seeing the waves coming from the Pacific Ocean was a very beautiful experience.
