Short hair is a lot better than long hair.

When I still had my long hair, I always had hair fall. My hair fell worse than my Spitz shed his coat.
Now that my hair is short (shoulder- length) less hair fall and less shampoo.
It is much easier to comb or manage. I love my short hair.
What about you?

less shampoo? i find such odd 's yer scalp's not changed size? i've long hair, such's been the case fer o'er 45yrs. 'tis past my backside. the 'nly time such's cut 'd be fer donation time, 'bout once a year. then 'tis waste length 'til 't grows out.

@MarshaMusselman most folks think that the longer yer hair, the more shampoo needed. 'tis not true 'nless ya use lots 'f goop fer stylin'. ya soap yer scalp'n when ya rinse such, takes care 'f the rest.

I agree that less shampoo is needed with shorter hair. The scalp is easier to clean and doesn't get missed just because we need less shampoo. Although, since I've had longer hair through the years I tend to use too much which makes it hard to rinse out thoroughly. My hair's never been that long, though, crazy.

When I was in my 20s I had very long hair and loved it. Now that I'm much much older I tend to have my hair shorter and generally it's below my ears.

@Janet357 I'm guessing it's not extra short or that would be above her ears. Mine is short and I get it cut around my years. Short on the back and an inch or so on top to give me something to work with.

I like girl with long hair, that's more attractive.But long hair is really difficult to comb and to wash. After washing hair, dry it is also too difficult.

My hair strands are thick and I find it hard to manage long hair. I have short hair right now and it is really short. I have to have hair cut every three months. Hair fall is really a problem you see a lot of hair fall in the floor

My hair is shorter than that. I feel like I'm wearing as no on my head when it grows out a bit more. It will get longer on my neck but not as long as yours is now. I let it grow a little during the winter but otherwise I try to keep it shorter. I don't like my big ears sticking out but before they weren't hidden by my hair so why try?
I use a bit of a freeze product and wear it messy on purpose
