I lack sleep

For two consecutive day, I have had no good sleep. I wake up as early as my husband does as I go with him to work. I do all my stuff at my husband’s office as their assistant is always absent. I like the idea of coming here only that it is hard for me to take a nap in other place. Do you have the same problem- hard to fall asleep in someone’s house or take a nap in some place?

How come his assistant is always absent! That doesn’t seem like a reliable assistant?

@Janet357 Yes , I agree. The assistant should not be working there. She acts like she is boss, coming to work for a hour and leave. Like what?

If i go to sleep too late after midnight, I can't have a good sleep, always wake up at night. And if I live in hotel or friends' house, the first night i'm always hard to fall asleep. The next several days, sleep is no problem.

We have a term for that - namamahay - which means you are not comfortable in sleeping away from home.

Yeah, I'm always like that, tossing and turning when I am not on my bed.

is she being paid for a day's work even if she only works for 1 hour? whoever hired her should fire her already and start looking for a replacement.
