SEA OR MOUNTAIN...

what does getting away means? is it getting out of chase or a vacation for fun?

I love the ocean the best. I love the sight and sounds of the water crashing over the rocks and the flow and ebb of the water on the beach. It's very awe inspiring and peaceful. I love walking in the waves. I have always loved water. It's such a powerful part of nature. I love taking pictures at the beach. I live in California, so the ocean is only about 3 hours away. I love Cambria, San Francisco and Monterey. I got to take pictures of sea lions on the beach at Vista Point not far from Cambria. I also went on a boat out in to the ocean in Monterey to watch whales. That was great, but if you get sea sick like I do, don't forget your sea sick pills. The water was really rough and it was really cold, but a great experience I would like to do again someday. In San Francisco you can watch the seals right below the pier. There are also great,unique shops,places to eat and sites to see in these three cities as well. I've also been to Hawaii, where the water is warm and beautiful.
