To celebrate my new Tempur-Pedic bed I’m counting down a “top ten” of songs that have “bed” in the title. Okay, there’s one “bedroom” as well. No Bob Dylan. I want readers. 
Here’s the opening lullaby.

And how did they come up with the name “Police”?
“We saw it on the side of a car,” guitarist Andy Summers said.
Love Andy. Enjoyed watching him more than Sting or Stewart when I saw the Police (with A Flock of Seagulls opening).
This song is so depressing it should be a Smiths song. (Hold that thought.) Sting wrote this after a former girlfriend committed suicide. 
Yeah, Sting was, as he said in a later song, the king of pain.
Still a great song.

That must be a good bed to make a whole countdown after it. Beds are important. I try to be a minimalist, but everyone needs a good bed. You always do have creative countdowns. You should go teach MTV how to do it.

Had not heard this one by the Police too often Four Walls.
I did get to see them live in the very early 80s.

I think people don't actually realize that Sting wrote some really dark songs. This is definitely one of my favorites by them!
