Birthday!

Wooo it's been an extremely long time since I've posted a discussion here on mylot... missed you guys, though most of you probably don't remember me... or you might be new! So yesterday (the 5th) was my birthday! Now I'm old... I've just turned 28. I'm not sure when or how life has passed by so quick... a part of me is disappointed... there were many things I hoped to do before reaching this age. Anyhow! I got to spend time with my nephew at the playground, and see my niece too for her belated birthday party which we celebrated at the park. I got to eat lots of food there! Now today, since it's still the weekend of my birthday, my mom and stepfather are going out to lunch with me to get some sushi and to drink some sake... I love sake! It's funny because although this particular restaurant is marketed as being Japanese, almost all of the employees that work there are Chinese... and if they aren't Chinese... it's usually because the smaller percentage of the staff are Korean or Vietnamese. It's a pretty common theme in this area where there aren't many Japanese-Americans for the Chinese to run these establishments. Anyway... my topic of discussion is all over the place because I just drank 3 cups of coffee and don't know where to start after my absence from mylot. Really.. I'm just here to say hi to everyone once again! Perhaps I shall return and post more often.. perhaps I will lurk back into the shadows.. In compliance with mylot rules...
