I've always had a compassionate heart. I hate to see others suffering and can't do anything about it. If I could end all war, racism, prejudice, homelessness, abuse, hatred, all the negative things in this world, I would, unfortunately that's impossible because we can't change others but ourselves. But, if I could at least work on me to become the best I could be and you could be the best you could be, then we are doing our part, because we can eventually hold the light up to others.

But we need to start with ourselves first. Once everyone properly learns how to love themselves, then they could love others.

@Deegoddess That's true that we need to love ourselves. If we don't care for ourselves then we will care little for others. Jesus said that we should love our neighbors as ourselves.

I would say, make it were the cost of living and medical expenses are not so high. Maybe then we wouldn't have so many homeless people.
