The Lizard Who Came to Visit

In my little apartment, I sometimes wonder how I managed to live alone in a two-story rattling old house back in Latvia and not be afraid. It was always quiet there out in the suburbs and I knew all of my neighbors and actually it was not much different from where I now live. We have a little quiet suburban street and I can only hear the traffic rolling by on the main street. As I do my work on my PC I do not pay much attention to what is going on around me because what can be going on around me? I am all alone and there is no one else around. So any strange noise I hear I know that it must come from downstairs but today I kept hearing a kind of light rapping. So I looked all around and finally, I saw him, as you can see in the picture, on my wooden wall swishing his tail about and I guess that made some noise. He had come to visit and to do away with any pesky bugs I might have.
