Another Sketch I did....

Back in my high school days (I think). I want a tattoo similar to this, but of course drawn by a professional.
I have a folder full of sketches I did that I will share eventually....but today I am sharing this one. Not one of my best, that is for sure....but I thought I would share it to see what you all think.
I know I asked in the last sketch discussion....but for those who did not see it....I will ask again. Do you draw/sketch - or have you ever?
I sketched for 4 years in high school because I took at least one art class each year and we had to keep a sketching journal. I think we had to do one sketch each week.

I think it looks pretty good. I can see why you would want that as a tattoo also. I used to draw all the time but I gave it up.

Thank you! I always thought these birds were cool, and would make a pretty tattoo! Sorry to hear you gave up drawing...but I understand since I don't really draw anymore

How cute! Never have been artistic in any way. My ex is and he tried to give me a lesson or two but, got so frustrated he gave up.

oh I am no longer good at it. I had loads of books on art at one time but had to go to work and never seemed to get the time what with kids , housework, and my job out side.

@MommyOfEli2013 I used to say I know how to sketch and I am good at it but now, seeing my daughter draw and sketch, it make me shy to say it ahaha

A very good effort. That would make a nice tattoo. I've sketched and done pictures in oil paint, etc.; but they're all really bad. I have no artistic talent whatsoever!

Thank you! Definitely not the best with drawing....but I had fun with it. Oil painting is cool too....sorry you think they were bad, I am sure they were not that bad! We are our own worst critics!

@LindaOHio Aw....well I am sorry to hear that! I haven't drawn since high school really, so I am sure I am not good at it (not that I was ever very great at it lol)

Do you draw it from imagination or have picture to refer to. I'm just curious because I really want to do sketching and art. I enjoy it a lot when I do it.

I think I usually used a reference photo...but this was over 10 years ago so I don't remember. I hope you can do that, it would be fun :)
