Day off for a good scrub.

No tourists to herd today thankfully. On the down side however is the fact that my veranda hasn't had a good scrubbing in months and the many visits from next door's chickens are in evidence. So today is a day for scrubbing and trying to concoct some chicken deterrent to spray about the place that will not also scare off my friends.
Mt sister's also meant to call with her kids and she won't want them playing in chicken poop, and I don't want them walking it into the house on their feet so I'd better get scrubbing.

Just like here. But the chickens are few now, maybe less than 10.
