This is an edit to the original post below:
I found that if a photo does not go through, you can try restarting your browser and try again. I save my post to my email so I won't lose it.
I hear the resolution should be about 72.
To check for resolution, right-click on the photo, then properties, then details and look for resolution.
Just testing to see if this will go through.
Can someone tell me what size photos need to be when they are attached? I have been trying to post something with a photo for at least 3 hours and it will not go through. I resized it twice. It is currently 225 x 300 pixels.
Thank you!!

225 x 300 pixels size of picture to be uploaded is okay. It will only take time to get through due to weak Internet connection.

I have been experimenting with different sizes and taking notes. Just now I realized that it worked after I restarted my browser. Such a relief. I appreciate the input.

It worked at 70 pixels but the photo is tiny. I will keep trying. Thanks! Not sure if you meant pixels when you said "resolution"?

the file size should be less than 3MB. but there are times the site acts up and wants even smaller than that.

@WriterRuth i can see the picture now. i tend to use pixabay (a free site) to get pictures from and always download the smallest size.
