Why there is so much difference between people of east and west?

Both religion and culture has the role to play behind this difference.. Say we take religion it played a major role in east, islam and hinduism in which the people followed certain principles which paved the way for a culture which is old and gold... whereas the people in the west are completely different from the east in religion as well as the culture their religion is very new compared to the east people's religion... the culture also is advanced as these people explored across the globe...

both religion and culture have different effects on people. and we also have to consider the geography and topography of the place.
