It "hit" me that there may be a limit to how many new posts one is able to make per day. But I did not see anything in the FAQ. Is anyone able to tell me?
It makes complete sense if this is indeed the case.
Thanks to those who told me that resolution should be about 72
I searched how to find resolution as I did not know.
Right click on photo/ properties/ details tab

If there were a limit, you could be sure that it would be specified in the official documentation!
No, there is no limit on the number of posts you may make a day: how many posts you can make which abide by the Guidelines and allow you to follow the responses up with meaningful comments is, of course, quite another matter!
When uploading an image, the critical thing is that the file must be less than 3MB in size. 'Resolution' is not really a relevant measurement in this case, especially if the file is a .JPG or ,PNG because compression varies quite a lot depending on the complexity of the image. I usually find that if the largest dimension of the image is around 1024 pixels, this is quite adequate for display here.

I appreciate the response. I will keep trying, But the photo I am trying to put up is smaller than all the rest I have put up... Might be more to it than that.

I don't think there is a limit, but people seem happier if the person posting also makes an efffort to answer other people's posts. It is all very friendly and easy going. So you are also a writer? There are a fair few here. However, the nice thing about this place is nobody worries whether you write well or not or have the odd typo or struggle with English. It is a kind of ongoing conversation - sort of like in a coffee shop where all sorts of people are chatting but it gets so relaxed te tables talk to each other.

I've always liked the idea of writing but have not really done much myself. Wrote a handful of articles for Blogmutt and got bored. Slapped something on Hubpages and it said it was published. To this day I am not even sure what that means because I still haven't read about the site properly and that was 2 years ago! I like the feeling here like you said and realize the responsibility that comes with making a new discussion.

@WriterRuth Some people like to write many discussions every day, I do not write a lot. What is important here is to interact.

@WriterRuth I check my notifications every morning, just to be sure to reply to those who replied to me.

Well, it was good point when GoAskAlice pointed out making sure we can keep up with meaningful responses as well. So I am sure I will do a lot what you are doing.

You found it right that there's no rule as to the limit of a discussion. It's up to you. But it's not what you post post that gets credit or earns. It's how many posts you have interacted from your fellow users.

@WriterRuth Yes but if they're not interacting it's nothing. For example you post 10 discussions with 2 or 3 interacted than 10 interactions you made to other users. Which is better? Thus, be sparing in posting discussions and be generous in interacting. In return you will have a fat earnings.

And also them interacting on your post, correct? Interaction in general? :-)

no, there is no limit, but it's better if the topics are different and spaced out. sometimes when you scroll through the "most recent discussions" tab, all you see is the same person.
interacting also matters. when someone posts a lot but doesn't comment back on the responses, people tend to stop visiting them.

I forgot what this thread was for a minute and thought you were talking about donuts. Or maybe cookies?
But yes, this is good advice. I am going to cut down for sure as I made 11 posts yesterday!

This is a good question because sometimes I post more than 5 in a day.

I'm starting to think that there may not be a limit. I posted 11 today. Also, I found that if I restarted my browser that my photo went through. Maybe I need to clear my cache.

I was told there is no limit but that we do of course need to be mindful of keeping up on comments from what we do post. I had not thought that through when I asked the question.

There's no limit in the number of posts per day; only the size of the photos.

Thank you. That helps. :-)
I'm still having problems with a photo and it makes no sense logically.
But I do not want to go on and on about it here as I am sure that would be against the FAQ
Hopefully I'll figure it out soon even though it defies logic (similar in size to photos that worked)

There is no limit to how many discussions you post per day. You are meant to respond in a meaningful way to members that write under your discussion. I find it hard to come up with many discussions unless something is happening to me at that time. I hope that you will enjoy all the friendly interaction on My Lot.
