WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM LIFE?

I won't pretend to be someone else anymore. I'm tired of putting up pretenses and living up to people's expectations of me. I want to stay true to myself and show people who I really am. I don't care whether they accept me or not, because I'm proud of who I've become.

It is hard to pretend to be someone you are not; this is my principle also; be natural!

I have learned that too in my life. My parents and brother thought I would become a great student for computers, I tried for more than 10 years to study, and plus, during highschool and it was just hard for me and nothing came out of it. I decided half a year ago to just work as a security guard for the rest of my life. If they have a problem with that, it is their problem. I find my ways to save money, I don't earn too much, but, I'm happy now, and I feel easier with that boulder that went off my shoulder.

We must do what we must do and that may be different from what other people may do. People and God think differently and we cannot please both in some matters. We cannot serve two masters!

@VickyR Yes, pleasing others when they want us to do what God disapproves can only lead to disaster.

Why have to be a great pretender and suffer fake friends?

Same here. I don't want pretense. The only choice you have is to like me or to love me. Huh waheehee.

I have learned that the best things to have in life are happiness, good luck and a good health. Nobody can be happy if they have poor health. I have learned to live within my means. It is wonderful to be debt free. I felt a heavy load on me when I had a mortgage. I have got out of credit card debt which is horrible. I am delighted that I have 2 wonderful children. One of my top hobbies is traveling to different countries. Yes, be proud to be yourself.

Life can be unfair at times It's up to me to Make the most of my life. Life is a journey, it's important to find the little things in life which make me happy. All really good quotes I found that when it comes to life make good sense to me.

If there's someone we can never lie to is ourselves, except from God.
Pretending to be someone you're not, you'll may please the society, but deep inside you is unhappy. We must value ourselves, because at the end of the day, It is only us between ourselves, and the society goes on without us.
What I learned in life is always be patient.Everything's gonna be alright. Trust God's perfect timing.
