What a surprise I had last Friday! I received an envelope stapled, taped, and bubble wrapped from the manager of a perfume department at my favorite store in Florida. Unsolicited, she sent sample spray bottles of all the new perfumes from the company she manages to me AND to my husband! I’m saving mine to give to my granddaughter, the Ice Princess, who is as much a girly girl as I am. I love samples! Do you?

@DianneN I still have the bottle (empty) of the first French perfume I bought with my first salary. Almost all my salary went in that bottle.

@stringer321 My husband and I met her a few years ago while we were shopping in the store and hit it off. She knows friends of ours from our state who live in her development in Florida. We are planning to go out to dinner together once we return to Florida. She called me yesterday and today. Love her!

The manager of the perfume brand at the store is a friend. She sent them. The store will send me any samples I request, but I never ask. I get them when I shop there.

They are often more fun than the full size products! I’m going to buy my granddaughter a full size bottle. I already spoke to my friend in Florida and also thanked her for all the goodies.

Who wouldn't like samples? We all like that. Well it didn't come really free because it only means you are a highly valued client of their store. And that means you shopped a.lot from them. The perks of being a regular shopper of a store.

I guess you’re right, but samples are still fun to receive, no matter how often I have to spend money to earn them. Usually, they just load me up at the store. This was a special surprise.

Yes I do love them because they give you a chance to know what a product is like and then you can buy it risk free. I hate buying something that I end up hating!
