It's a shame when a person works hard for what they have, only to have it stolen by a thief.
This is one thing I had always tried to instill with each of my children, if you want anything in life, your going to have to work for it, no ones going to just give it to you. Thank goodness all 3 of them listened to me. My youngest son has been working since he was real young,he started out helping a farmer down the road from the house feed his hogs and cows, since it was hard for the farmer to do, he had lost his arm in one of he farm equipment.
So anyway, I learned today that someone stole my son's truck. He said they had stole it sometime during the night, when he got up the next morning to go to work it was gone. Whoever it was had to have hotwired it, because he had his keys in his pocket. He did say that his insurance will give him the book value for it, thank goodness for that. He also told me that there were others that were also stolen around that area to around that time.

That's terrible his truck was stolen. I'm glad he'll get the book value for it from the insurance. I would be more interested in getting it back and charging the person who stole it and see that person do jail/prison time. He shouldn't be allowed to get away with stealing vehicles.

I agree with you, hopefully they will catch the person that is doing this. That's like around a year ago, my son's cusion went fishing and left his truck locked up at the boat landing, when he came back, someone had busted his window and stole everything out of his truck. I don't think they ever caught whoever done that. I can't stand a thief!!

Oh wow, sounds like a pretty serious car stealing operation. What a hassle but hopefully he will get something he likes soon. What if he gets the blue book money and the truck is recovered? How does that work?

I hope he can find something he likes soon to. My son told me today that it doesn't matter if they find his truck now or not. He already turned the keys and everything in and they already cut cut the check.
