I Am a Scout Always a Scout

Gone for a moment to fulfill my duty as a scout for I am invited to a discussant on scouting ideals on Philippine scouting.
More than hundred boy scouts of the Special Education Integrated School would be attending event.
As a wood badge holder I would be sharing my scouting experiences to them. My 51-year experience in scouting would be enlivened again and surely they'll benefit from it.
It's my honor to do my best to love God and my country, the Republic of the Philippines and to obey the scout law, to help other people at all time, to myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
The scout law is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, reverent.

I was also a scout when I was younger and was even appointed as Assistant Scout Master when I was 18 to take over the community scouts in our barangay.

Lots of things I know how to do now I owe to scouting like folding the Philippine flag properly, knot tying, using a compass and primitive fire making just to name a few...

They're enthusiastic, curious. They need to be loved, cared just the normal persons. And I had shown it to them.

During my school life, I never joined a scout. It was fun, I knew.
