Dealing with anxiety.

I usually get so anxious whenever there is a special task that I need to perform. For example, I am supposed to write a research proposal this semester as an assignment. Therefore, I need to come up with a topic, do research then write about it. This has made me so anxious and the fact that most of my classmates already have topics while I don't makes me more anxious. This has really prevented me from choosing a topic and it has made me more lazy and unmotivated.
I have been trying my level best to fight this anxiety and it works sometimes. I try cooling down and thinking right and it works until I go back to feeling anxious again.
How do you deal with anxiety? Maybe your opinions can help me deal with mine and get done with the proposal before the semester ends.

I use eft tapping, it has helped me with my anxiety. There are even follow-along videos on YouTube, just search eft tapping anxiety or procrastination or something like that. Follow along and see how it works for you

This technique seems ridiculous, but it has really worked for me. Give it a try and tell me if it works.

i had many researches last year, so now i'm used to it. i just try to focus on the presentation, not how anxious i am.
also, sometimes we ask professor to help us with topics for research, maybe you could do the same. or tell us what's the subject and maybe someone could help you with coming up with topic for your research. it's going to be fine

That is very natural and that shows that you are sincere at your work and you have got concern for the work at the hand! From my experience, I am telling to plan the things mentally and then convert them physically. Don't get stressed and attempt the work part by part and I am sure you will get the success for sure!

I had anxiety attacks when I lost my job a long time ago. That first attach would haunt me until now although I am now able to control it by taking a walk outside.

When I have issues like this i talk with friends and family to find ideas for the research because it helps not feel alone and gives ideas where whichever you like more you can do that and take it step at a time
