I failed to attend to our school batch Get Together

Some of the batch members organized a small gathering intended to those who were already friends and close friends during that time. One of my classmates sent me several messages at FB ahead of time but I was not able to read it because I do not open it most of the time. She called me last minute and since I was not prepared, I failed to attend to the get together. Maybe I can attend next time. We’re also looking forward for the grand alumni homecoming this December.

I hope you can attend the next one. I had to miss mine because my husband had neck surgery.

Yes, maybe Ms. D. I'm sorry to what happened to your husband but it's more important than anything else. There were times really that we should turn down invitations because we have this thing that has needed our attention most.
