Good evening friends
Yesterday and today I was not active, I had obligations about my brother's machines.
The electricity bill, which was extremely small, arrived at only 10 euros, I knew something was wrong, so I went to check. The man who photographed the meter did not do it well, because instead of number 9, it says number 0, but they corrected it and now the bill is about 90 euros.
I was told that I was one of the 5 million who complained about the smaller bill, always people only complain about the bigger accounts.
Did you happen to get a bigger or smaller electricity bill by mistake?

@hereandthere No there was no leak, my parents have checked it. And then we just found out that my Auntie and her daughter is getting water in our drum because they doesn't have a line in water. Sounds so thief right? :) My parents talked to them that if they want to have a source of water they can pay the half and also we will pay in half of the bill but they doesn't want it because they want getting water without paying anything LOL

I had an electric bill that was super high, but I didn't want to be late with the payment so I went ahead and paid it. But then I went in to question why it was so high, and they sent out a worker to examine the meter to see if it was malfunctioning. It turns out that they read the meter wrong when recording the numbers. So they corrected my bill, which made it much smaller. But since I had already paid, they gave me a credit for the following month, so my bill the next month wasn't as high.

I wouldn't have complained about the smaller bill. I know that the right thing to do is to let them know if something on the bill is not right but if it's in my favor I wouldn't do it. Their mistake, my gain.

it happened with our water bill.
the first one was because we had a leak so our bill ballooned. i asked help from my siblings to pay it.
but the next year, our bill kept decreasing until it was zero. i told them about it so they checked it. they said our water meter stopped working so they replaced it.
