I am starting a herb garden. In the past I only planted vegetables and didn't always work out. We have big trees in the back yard and I don't want to cut them down or even cut the branches, but when the leaves are out we don't get much sun there. So this year I decided to start in the front yard that gets more sun. I'm hoping the herbs will grow better as they get more sun and if there is a space I will plant some vegetables too. How about you? Do you have a garden, what do you plant and do they grow well? What did you plant in the past and did they grow well too?

I had a vegetable garden in the past, but at the moment we only have grass, trees and flowers. I would like to make some changes in the future. Our garden is quite large, and it was very neglected when we moved in. It looks better now, but I would still like to make some changes.

I have varied plants and trees in my garden that is around our house. This is a small lot but I was able to plant several trees like mango, star fruit, soursop and sugar apple (custard apple).

We have a small front garden and a bigger one behind the house. It's only grass, berry bushes and trees. We sit there when the sun is shining. All attempts to grow lettuce in the back garden have been sabotaged by snails.
I planted dozens of crocus and snowdrop bulbs in the front garden. Only a handful appeared. I suspect that a mole ate the rest.
