Has anyone played Pikmin 2 on the Gamecube?

I just got the game on Monday and can't seem to stop playing it. It is the first time I have played on my Gamecube in years. I have the first one but hated that there was a time constraint on the game. I had like 2 days left to complete the mission but still had a bunch of things to get to finish the game so I gave up. This one doesn't have a limit to the number of days you can explore. I am really having fun playing it.
