Annoying with power cuts

Today is really annoying with the power cuts.Till now we had 3 power cuts . One power cut was about 45 min , second one is 15 min and third one is 2 min ..
It`s really feel really bad because every time power cut router take time to on for that and internet also little slow due to that ..
How about your Electricity ?? how is the internet speed ?? how things going on??

We live on a remote island that is subject to a lot of high wind - 160 -180mph winds is normal for us so our power goes of quite often. The power can't be sorted out until an engineer comes out on the next boat - sometimes there is no boat for 3 days!
Needless to say, we have a good supply of candles, tourches and games to play for when there is no electricity and internet!

@cool83 Kirkwall is the name of the town on the big island close to us - we live on an island that is 2 hours away from there by boat!
Our island has one small shop and 100 people - It's a great place and really friendly - I have never locked my front door and never take the keys out of the car!
Internet speed is really slow here though - not much good when you have a youtube channel and upload weekly videos!
