This mural 14 is similar art concept with mural 13 sans the sugar canes. The artist of this mural has put the sugar canes below as foundation being laid. That is to let the viewers know that the major income-generating produce of the city of La Carlota is sugar. Most of the agricultural land of the 4th class city of La Carlota is planted with sugarcane. The La Carlota sugarcane, a high-yielding variety is easy to chew and it produces a very sweet juice. It's later named to Alunan sugarcane in honor of Secretary of Agriculture Alunan.
