Going Green...Where's everyone gone?

Deepali, diwali, or deepavali has disappeared. I remember when I was young, the incessant sound of crackers bursting at dawn used to mark this festival. But, since the crackers have become green, there is not going to be much noise...any noise.
So, what will the silent festival do? This is becoming more like Christmas, if I may say so. But, then, it is only my perspective on the whole shebang.
And yet, there is the mystery. How will this Diwali be? Will the excitement be there? There is the usual Ladoo and murukku on the table but the absence of noise is a damper. Guess it is for the better. Happy Diwali!

@samysotelo18 Yes, entire India is all lit up with small lamps. In fact, in one of the states they lit 5.5 lakh lamps creating a Guinness World record.
Thing is, when you come out, you see a small lamp at every street corner and in front of every house in the locality. This is why we call it the festival of lights.
