What's great about being a Freelancer or a Work anywhere type of job?!?!?!?

My thoughts on this is more on the positive side because I for one is a freelancer. Meaning, I work with projects from international clients and quite earn a very decent hourly pay. I can work anywhere too where there's internet connection. Freelancing has been ramping now-a-days because it's very convenient to just simply sit down during your work hours and work right at the convenience of your own home, or be it anywhere you feel like working so long as there's stable internet connection.
What about you? What do you do? I had been working from home since 2009. What do you do? What is your job like? For me, I would prefer working from home or anywhere then probably venture into having my own business than working in a regular day job because I would like to have the luxury of time to travel when I want to, spend time with my family more often and also avoid the hassle of going to an office and experience beating traffic.

My first question is what about the payment, did they pay you once you have completed your task?

I've been working from home since 2009 and since then I've always been paid hourly, in a weekly basis by my employer. So far, I have not experienced not being paid for my being a Virtual Assistant.

I am happy that you found something you like. I am self-employed and am still looking for what I want to do. I prefer to work at home online because I have worked outside of the home and do not have something I want to do outside. It is hard to find things to do here in Israel online. I prefer to work in English here.
